An occasional information bulletin for Sunnynook dog owners

The ancestry chart shown above, depicts the 3 lines of LMs at Sunnynook Kennel, beginning with our two original imports from Germany and their first litter in 1977. The mating lines and offspring lines are in orange. Those orange lines connect all the way down to our L2 litter born January 12, 2025.
On the left is a section with blue lines. This group begins with Snowy Oaks Egret who was conceived in Germany but born in the US. We mated her to a German import, owned by others, and had a litter from them in 1994, the J Litter. This line continued through to Sunnynook's Gannet, who still lives at Sunnynook. Gannet has not yet had a litter but her brother, Sunnynook's Gustav lives in Idaho and has sired two of litters at Eagle Rock Kennel.
Finally there is a small section with green lines at the bottom left. We imported Krokus von Kleinenkneten who still lives at Sunnynook and Aiko von Sundorph who lives with friends in Saskatoon. They had a litter together in 2022, the J2 litter. We imported Asio von der Fienen Biye in 2024 and if all goes well, he and Sunnynook's Joli will have a litter in 2026.
Fifty LMs have lived at Sunnynook for a period of their life, beyond puppyhood. A few are mentioned below.

He also left 3 daughters who had litters of their own: Sunnynook's Sora, Siskin, and Skelley.
